Halloween 08

Here are a few pictures of Max's first Halloween.

We visited the pumpkin patch but Max was sound asleep the entire time. We took pictures with pumpkins anyway. Isn't he cute? That is my little chunky monkey!

Grandma Sheila and Aunt Melissa bought Max several hats for halloween. We made it into the owl, ghost and pumpkin hat but the owl was my favorite.

Matt and I dressed up as a ghostbuster and slimer for the Bean's Hallowbean party. Max was a little scared of my green hair.

Alert

Max is now 4 weeks old and he is becoming more aware of his surroundings. He loves to lay on his boppy mat and look at his toys above him. He has also started communicating with us by cooing in addition to crying!

Trip to Nebraska

Max went on his first road trip. Uncle Dan and Aunt Kristina got married on Oct 4 in Nebraska and Max was there to witness the nuptials. It was a long drive with a 3 week old but we made it. Max's BFFs (Chase and Cooper) came with us (in a different car of course).

First Bath

Max loved his first bath (at home - 9/15/08)! He was hungry and thought he would suck on his dads hand. He loves to have his back massaged and hates to have water run over his head. We are getting much better at bathtime.

Meet Max

Max was born on 9/11/08 (something good had to happen that day, right?). The pitocin drip was started at 7:30am and he made his way into the world at 3:52pm. The doctors first words when Max arrived were "look at those cheeks!". Max is a healthy baby boy who is a spitting image of his daddy.

We couldn't be more thrilled!
