Wow!

I was inspired by my best friend Audrey to update my blog. Good thing because it has been since May that I posted and SO much has happened.

As many of you know we've had alot of changes since May. We moved to Edmond and we had another baby!

In July, Matt received a promotion that moved us to Edmond. It was hard to leave everyone but we've got a house that we love, Matt's parents just 20 minutes away and OKC is really starting to grow on us.

We had Mallory Elizabeth Gipson on October 23. She is an adorable little girl with a great personality. All you have to do is look at her and she grins ear-to-ear and laughs. Everyone has differing opinions on who she looks like. I think that is a good indication that she's a good mix of mommy and daddy. We just love her so much!

Max is now 16 months old and is so big. He runs around and gets into everything. He says lots of words randomly but most recently he has started saying 'no no' while hitting something. Not good but it is just so darn cute. Max loves his baby sister especially when she has a paci in her mouth that he can steal.

Oh how life can change so much in a year. We had a great 2009 and we are looking forward to an even better 2010.

Standing

On Tuesday Max decided he wanted to sit up in bed by Thursday he was standing up. Oh boy, this is going to be interesting.

I also wanted to post a picture of Max with his Grampa John and Great Grandma Hueste. It was her 85th birthday party. AND a picture of Max with one of his BFFs.

So much going on!

Max is almost 8 months old! He is doing so well. He sleeps through the night, eats like a horse and plays until he's exhausted. Let's just hope the next one is that good! If you don't already know Matt and I are expecting our second on November 3. It was a huge surprise to us but we are excited all the same. We find out mid-May if Max is going to have a little brother or little sister.

Max is doing so much so here is a rundown...
He is army crawling. He can't get up on his knees yet but he scoots around until he gets where he wants to go. He also has two bottom teeth! They came in a few weeks ago and I think he has more that are about to break through. He has started eating puffs, num-nums and crackers. Oh yeah, and he can hold his own bottle. He loves feeding himself.

Daddy must lower his bed soon. Max is starting to grab on to the rails/bumper and pull himself up although I think it will take him a bit more strength to get that chubby body up!

We moved into our new house in March. We love it. It is exactly what we wanted with tons of closet space and room. I'm sure we'll be filling it all up very soon.

I hope you enjoy the pictures!

6 month update

Well, it has been way too long since we have posted. We've got a lot to catch you up on.

Max has gotten so big. He is now 6 months old and weighs 19.5lbs. What a big boy! He has had a rough couple of months. He's been sick for a while and ended up spending three days in the hospital with pneumonia. Although he didn't feel well he kept the nurses pretty entertained.

Max has started eating baby food. His favorite are peas and pears. He also loves applesauce and bananas and really doesn't like carrots.

Our little boy is sitting up on his own! He will sit in the floor and play with his toys for a long time. We are sitting by anticipating his first crawl. He is trying so hard but hasn't figured it out yet.

We are just enjoying watching him develop and figure out the World. We are excited to see what comes next. We'll keep you posted.

Halloween 08

Here are a few pictures of Max's first Halloween.

We visited the pumpkin patch but Max was sound asleep the entire time. We took pictures with pumpkins anyway. Isn't he cute? That is my little chunky monkey!

Grandma Sheila and Aunt Melissa bought Max several hats for halloween. We made it into the owl, ghost and pumpkin hat but the owl was my favorite.
Matt and I dressed up as a ghostbuster and slimer for the Bean's Hallowbean party. Max was a little scared of my green hair.

Alert

Max is now 4 weeks old and he is becoming more aware of his surroundings. He loves to lay on his boppy mat and look at his toys above him. He has also started communicating with us by cooing in addition to crying!
